Image
Amazing Earthlings. Pinoy Mrazians High Five to Year Five. Last 24th June 2017, Jason Mraz - Philippines in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - NCR held its 5th Annual Tree Planting activity at the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City.  Jason Mra z - Philippines, the official fan group of Jason Mraz in the country, started this environmental activity last 2013 at the Luneta Park in Manila. Due to its success, admins of the group have decided to make it an annual activ ity to give chance for the Mrazians to do their share in the protection of the environment and also to meet their fellow Mraz fans.  This event has also served as a way to celebrate Jason Mraz' 40th Birthday. Jason Mraz has become the group's inspiration because of his advocacy.  A total of 150 trees were planted for this year's event. It is a combination of Narra, Molave, and Lanete trees. These Mrazians had to trek about 30 minutes to rea...

Jason Mraz - Philippines . Last 22nd June 2014, Pinoy Mrazians went back to the earth and planted trees at the Binhi ng Kalayaan and Quirino Grandstand at Luneta Park, Manila. 37 trees were planted to celebrate Jason Mraz's 37th birthday (June 23).  Jason Mraz - Philippines This is the 2nd year Mrazians united to support one of the advocacies being promoted by Jason Mraz, which is environmental protection by doing tree planting activities. Jason and his team have noticed and appreciated the efforts of Pinoy fans.  Amazing Mrazians The success of the event was overwhelming. I never thought that there are fans who are more than willing to dedicate their time and spend their spare amount to support this effort initiated by the Jason Mraz - Philippines team. It is not easy to organize such event. We had to secure permit from the National Parks Development Committee of Luneta Park and they have specific requirement in terms of the trees to be planted. On our case...

Jason Mraz makes history with 71-week chart run

Jason Mraz 's "I'm Yours" may be the longest running song in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart , but the hippie-friendly jam has been around even longer. Mraz has played the song on tour for five years, and he said fans at live shows always responded differently to it, inspiring him to release the song as a single. "The song was really born into the crowd. ... I noticed almost an immediate response to it and people really celebrated in a different way during that song," he said in a phone interview. "And then by having those three years to jam to the song, it gave us the opportunity to do something simple, yet spirited" in the studio. "And now of course, that we've been playing with people really owning it on the record, it's taken it to a whole new level," he said. "I'm Yours" first charted in May 2008, hit No. 6 in September 2008 and has spent 71 weeks on Bill...
